Why We Like The Salomon Thundercross Trail Running Shoe
When covering long distances over technical terrain, we stride out in the Salomon Thundercross Trail Running Shoe. The thick stack of foam pads rock- and root-riddled sections, keeping our feet feeling fresh longer, while the deep, multi-directional lugs chew up loose dirt and sling mud as we go, ensuring every strike bites.

No size or style fits
Seems a well constructed shoe! But after decades of being able to just order Salomon's and know that they fit and that I'd love them, after trying on a few sizes and a few styles it seems there is nothing in the salmon lineup that fits anymore! Sadly, for the first time in over 20 years, I'm looking for a new brand, as Salomon no longer makes what they've made. I'm not alone in this. Look ar conversations online like Reddit...many others like me left in the dust. I hope the new customers make up for the loss of all the old diehard loyal ones. I tried maybe 7 or 8 different styles between online purchases. Literally have a huge pile of Salomon shoes in my house. I have 3 very old ones that are still falling apart that I wear daily, as none of my new ones work. Please make a legacy shape!

Road-runner comfort adapted to tackle trails
Lacing system allows for minute adjustments to tone the shoe to your foot for a comfortable fit. Grip levels through mud, rock, root, or road. Tons of cushioning to ease the impact of stepping on acutely angled rock.

Great shoe, different fit
I've had this shoe now 5 months, I really like the lower drop of this shoe, with gore-tex it's great for winter and spring running. I tend to have a quite narrow foot and was surprised by how wide this shoe feels compared to other Salomon shoes, so would suggest trying for fit if you tend to have a narrower foot.

Best Salomon shoe ever
This is my 2nd pair of Thundercross and I couldn’t be happier. I figured I’d better buy another pair before something changes. These are wide enough in the toe box and have great grip and cushioning for trail running and hiking. They are also my go to shoe for just wearing around since they are so comfortable. Keep up the good work!

Just took these out on a run, the traction is ridiculously good.

Great shoes
My go to for softer terrain. My issue with soft ground shoes is that they are often stiff and uncomfortable but these are the exact opposite. Soft upper and very comfortable to run in for extended period of time
